Invitation to welcome and celebrate OPEN on Friday June 11th at 7.30pm Dear Friends, I’m here with the new day and soft candle light, taking a few moments to extend an invitation for you to join with us on Friday June 11th at 7.30pm to welcome and celebrate a new arrival in the world. This newborn is called OPEN. It is an inspired book of art and poetry from my beloved wife Cecelia Kee Glenane and wonderful mother to Rozarah and Evalily. It is especially joyful and healing for us as a family to have Cecelia’s book come into this world here just a week after her passing into the other world on Friday morning May 28th. Many of you receiving this email know Cecelia in one capacity or another, and from this have a personal sense of her beauty and specialness. We thank you for your love and support for her and for us, her family. In being her natural self, Cecelia had a beautiful presence that made an impression wherever she was. She received so much delight from the ways in which her expression, be it through conversations, poetry, art, baking, designing, and passions brought joy and healing to others. So much of what came through her was inspired, flowing through from a place of open heart and soul. The rewards for being in her company led to feelings of being blessed, of warmth, of connection and love. The pathways for Cecelia’s love were many, alive in relationships between herself and others, between herself and flowers, between herself and the ocean, between herself and her morning tea, between herself and her batch loaf, her rhubarb and ginger jam……. Cecelia felt and expressed gratitude whole heartedly. She was always deeply grateful for any kindness extended and gifted to her. More than anything she enjoyed loving, and this joy was very palpable, drawing us in and carrying us along with her excited energy. Her heart could open up excitedly to a colour, a napkin, a smell, the sound of the cuckoo, a fiat 500 car, a taste, a painting, a fabric, a song, the list is endless. In being so open, Cecelia received and gave without effort. If she knew what you loved, then you would be truly spoiled. At the same time she could introduce a person to newness and create beauty in foods, actions, paintings, poetry and designs that would truly touch the hearts of those in her company, perhaps even leaving a person feeling special! Cecelia and vision lived through each other. She could see deeply into the heart and soul of all she encountered. Her connection with her own heart and soul was really open. She could see through extra ordinary eyes, and through this bring healing, guidance and support to those around her and everyone who came to her for help and healing. Cecelia’s poetry and art came forth from this other realm. I never saw her sit down in an effort to write a poem. It just happened spontaneously and away she went about her day again. Cecelia felt called to share her poetry and art with the world, with the hope that these could help to heal and inspire. For Rozarah, Evalily and myself, we feel so excited that people will come to know Cecelia, perhaps meeting her for the first time, or maybe coming to know her more deeply than before. For Cecelia, and for us too, the deepest joy is in the knowing that in sharing her gifts, healing, joy, inspiration and Love may flow through the hearts of the recipients. We thank you for participating in this sharing with us. Our hearts are healed when we celebrate Cecelia and feeling the joys of who she is both fills and opens our hearts. We know she is special, full of love, and truly beautiful. Being in Cecelia’s presence, will we hope, be a blessing for you too and for those you choose to share her creative work with. We invite you to take a favourite drink of yours along with you on Friday evening and maybe a little extra treat that you simply love.
